Common Questions
Before you write.
How do you price projects?+
We work on fixed-price contracts, scoped after a discovery call. You'll never receive a surprise invoice. For ongoing retained work, we offer a monthly engagement model with a defined weekly hour allocation.
Do you work with early-stage startups?+
Yes — some of our best work has been with founders pre-revenue. What matters more than stage is clarity of vision and realistic expectations around timeline and budget. We're happy to advise on scoping an MVP that doesn't create technical debt.
What's your typical project timeline?+
Most projects run 8–16 weeks depending on scope. We don't rush — a well-scoped 12-week project almost always produces better results than a rushed 6-week one. We'll give you a realistic timeline upfront and stick to it.
Will I own the code?+
Absolutely. All work product — code, design files, documentation — transfers to you upon final payment. We retain no licensing rights. We also make sure everything is well-documented so your internal team (or any future agency) can pick it up without friction.
Do you offer post-launch support?+
Yes. All projects include a 30-day bug-fix warranty at no extra cost. Beyond that, we offer a retained engineering model for ongoing support, feature development, and infrastructure monitoring. Many of our clients stay on retainer for years.
Can you work with our existing codebase?+
Yes, though we require a code audit before committing to any engagement on an inherited codebase. This lets us give you an accurate scope and flag any architectural issues upfront. The audit is billed separately and usually takes 2–3 days.
